Dear All,

As you all know, Jaina group started with a humble beginning but, over the years, with your help and support, it has become a strong business entity. It was back in 1995 when I embarked on this remarkable journey. That time, telecom industry was still at a very nascent stage, but needless to say, held a lot of promise as India was hitherto unexposed to the marvels of mobile telephony. Today, when I look back, I see a truly extraordinary journey with lots of challenges and many amazing achievements. However, Team Jaina still has quite a few wishes that it aims to achieve in very near future.

Jaina Group’s mission is to pioneer the most diversified mobile phones business portfolio across the world and with three business verticals of ours, viz. Distribution, Mobile Ecosystem (which will be coming quite soon) and mobile phone brand (Karbonn Mobiles), we find ourselves almost there.

Talking about our distribution vertical, today, we have a multi-nation distribution coverage comprising of more than 1200 national and international distributors. All this has contributed immensely in establishing Jaina Group as a trusted partner for telecom brands.

In March 2009, we started a new vertical i.e branded mobile phone, by launching Karbonn Mobiles in India, in association with the UTL Group. An array of mobile phone models were launched to address those Indian consumers who seek value for money. Today Karbonn Mobiles has, in a relatively short span of time, grown from strength to strength to become a leading mobile phone company in India and abroad offering unmatched qualities and features at attractive price points.

I, and my team, truly believe that the coming time will be exciting for the Group as we will be required to keep pace with the rapidly evolving and the ever-changing telecom industry in India and that we’ll strive successfully to scale newer peaks.
